Lutheran Summer Music is thrilled to announce the launch of the Hymn Tune Project, with a second arrangement coming this summer. The Hymn Tune Project is a series of theme and variations on hymn tunes for solo instrument and keyboard. This new piece will build on the momentum of the inaugural arrangement from LSM 2023, Holy Manna, which has garnered hundreds of downloads since its premiere last summer.
Summer Worship Schedule begins May 26 and runs to September 1. There is one service at 9:30 a.m. We also hope to have two outdoor services, weather permitting. Watch for more information about summer activities.
Come and enjoy the Celebration for all ages — Pride in Park Ridge! June 20, 2024, 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the corner of Prospect & Cresent. There will be music, food and crafts. There will be an inflatable course and bungee run. Guest speakers at 7:00 p.m.. The event is sponsored by inclusive congregations, organizations, and volunteers. Installation of Pastor Kyle Severson as pastor of St. Luke’s on Sunday, April 21 at both services. We welcome our Synod Bishop, The Rev. Yehiel Curry, who will preside and preach at worship; and Pastor Kathy Nolte, who will install Pastor Kyle as our Lead Pastor.
