Moses returns from Mount Sinai with the Tablets of the Law.
 “. . .but showing steadfast love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments.” Exodus 20:1-17

(L) Moses leads the Israelites through the Red Sea to escape from Pharaoh’s army. Exodus 14:21

(L) Moses on Mount Nebo looks toward, but is not permitted to enter, the Promised Land. Deuteronomy 34:1-4

(R) Infant Moses is set adrift in the reed basket on the Nile River to save him from being killed by Pharaoh. When the child grew up, she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and she took him as her son. She named him Moses, “because,” she said, “I drew him out of the water.” Exodus 2:2-10
