Flu Shots

Walgreens will administer a Fall Flu Clinic at St. Luke’s Sunday, September 29 from  9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. They will offer vaccines for the flu, pneumonia and RSV (respiratory syncytial virus). The CDC recommends the RSV vaccine for adults over 75.

Bring your insurance card with you. The RSV and pneumonia vaccine will have no cost for those with Medicare, otherwise he cannot say ahead of time what the copay will be. The flu shot will be covered at no cost with most insurance, however you may want to check with your insurance company to be sure. For example, I went to the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois website to confirm that I would be able to get my flu shot with no copay.  If you have questions, please call church office or contact Alia Birdwell.
