Lent & Holy Week Schedule
Our Lenten Journey 2025 begins with Ash Wednesday on March 5 and culminates with the Festival of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday, April 20. Please, join us on this sacred journey for one or all of these services in remembrance of Christ’s Passion.
March 5 – Ash Wednesday
Service with Imposition of Ashes – 12 PM
Simple soup lunch follows the service

Holden Evening Prayer
Simple soup supper precedes the service at 6 PM
* ALIVE! will join for the meal and worship before returning to their activities
April 13 – Palm/Passion Sunday
ONE SERVICE of Holy Communion with a procession of palms and the reading of the Passion according to Luke – 10:45 AM
In the afternoon, St. John Passion, J. S. Bach (this is a ticketed event with limited seating)

Service of Holy Communion with Anointing – 12 PM

Service of Holy Communion with Footwashing and Stripping the Altar – 7 PM
Simple soup supper precedes the service at 6 PM
April 18 – Good Friday
Seven Last Words of Christ, Franz Joseph Haydn – 12 PM
Performed by the Montag Ensemble.
Members of the Park Ridge Ministerial Association will offer reflections.
The Way of the Cross Service – 7 PM
Contemplative service that follows Jesus’ journey to the cross through scripture, prayer, and reflection, as we also hold in prayer Christ’s suffering alongside people today
April 19 – Resurrection of Our Lord: Vigil of Easter
Service of Story-telling from the Hebrew Bible, lighting the new fire, and Holy Communion – 7 PM
April 20 – Resurrection of Our Lord: Easter Day
ONE SERVICE of Festival Holy Communion – 10:45 AM
An Easter Brunch will precede the service – 9 AM
