Niles / Park Ridge Annual CROP Hunger Walk – October 20th, 2024
Hunger is one of the greatest injustices facing our world, impacting families locally and globally. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Ending hunger is possible, and it is possible in our lifetime.
The 2024 CROP Walk raises funds for and awareness of the ever-present food insecurity issues in Cook County and other U.S. and international areas! A portion of our CROP funds support continue to support our long-term commitment to Maine Township Food Pantry. CROP Walk funds also support global resilience efforts in the US and 30 other countries including support to the people of Ukraine.
Registration and check in for the 3-mile walk, on Sunday, October 20th, starts at 1:15 p.m. with the walk kicking off promptly at 2 p.m. The church parking lot is across the street from the back end of the church off Grant St.
