Epiphany of Our Lord

On January 7, we continue the celebration of the twelve-day Christmas season, and in fact, this year we are adding a bonus “thirteenth day of Christmas.” We will celebrate the Epiphany of our Lord (“Feast of the Wisemen”), traditionally observed on January 6, with a bonfire, children’s star procession, and the music of the season.

May this day, and each day of the season, provide opportunity for sharing the hymns, carols, and stories of Christmas. May it encourage us to open our hearts and homes to family, friends, and neighbors. May it remind us of those in need and encourage us to respond. May it give us a glimpse of the peace and joy for which we all long.
