Pastor Elizabeth Palmer
On Sunday, April 30, Pastor Elizabeth Palmer, who serves as book review editor at the Christian Century magazine, will lead a discussion about some of the best new children’s books from a faith perspective. She will also be our preacher for the service that morning.
After a 15-minute intergenerational reading session with the Sunday School students in Henderson Hall, we’ll head down to the conference room to talk about how children’s books can be used to teach, challenge, and comfort the children (and adults!) who engage with them. The library is pleased to offer this event not just for parents, grandparents, and teachers, but for all who are interested in what’s new for our young people.
